John Smith
Director of Human Resources,
K-Tech, Inc.
189 Mission Avenue, Suite 101
Oceanside, CA 92054.
Dear Mr. Smith:
I saw the product manager job opening you listed on monster.com yesterday, and I’m extremely interested in the position with K-Tech.
I have been a product manager for the past six years with experience very similar to what the job posting asks for. Coming from a background in software development, and then product management, my various roles with MySpace and Microsoft have provided me with software development expertise, product management, and project management experiences. In addition, my professional experiences with all levels of management, both internal and external, set me apart for success in a product management role.
K-tech greatly appeals to me for a number of reasons. I am passionate about web 2.0, product management, and client services. Moreover, my ability to achieve positive results, both independently and in diverse team environments, provides a foundation for a successful career in a fast-paced, startup environment. I am eager to contribute in a high growth, yet structured company such as K-Tech.
I have enclosed my resume for your review. I would apprieate the opportunity to talk more about this role with you. I can be reached via my cell phone (760) 555-1234 or by email at limin0104@hotmail.com.
Thank you for your time and consideration, and I look forward to speaking with you about this exciting opportunity soon.
Sincerely
Min Li

My Job Interview Outfit

I am applying for a product manager position in an internet or software company.
I chose a business casual outfit for the job interview. I will wear a light grey jacket with a white blouse, black pants and a pair of black leather pumps. I will accessorize with a black leather bag.
I think this outfit is the most appropriate for the job interview because it shows I’m professional and I take this interview seriously.
